Andy

Andy is the manager and has worked at the shop for longer than you could possibly imagine. Unless you can somehow imagine longer than 24 years. He goes all weak at the knees if you mention The Smiths or Morrissey but don't think he's just an 80s indie loving dandy - he knows most things about most kinds of music, including classical & jazz. In fact, rumour has it he actually invented music.

Ashlie

Ashlie 'beatz n pieces' Green is the newest member of the crew aboard the good ship David's. She's Andy's right-hand man. But she's a girl. Music-wise she's all about glitchy electronics, cacophonous walls of noise and the london nu-folk scene amongst other things. She's also obsessed with Simon Neil & photography, if you ever need an ice breaker.

Tom

Tom's been at the shop for a few years now, making us listen to all sorts, from a thousand instrumental postrock bands to a thousand breathy, folky singer-song writers via At The Drive In and Otis Redding. In his official capacity he is the head of the sheet music department so it's him you need to talk to about ordering books for your sprogs.

kirkKirk

Kirk dashes most days between the shop and his other job caring for kids at a preschool. With that job pairing and his excellent beard and customer service skills he is a lot of people's (read "housewives") favourite member of staff. He plays in the cinematic rock collective 'There Were Bears' with Tom and listens to a lot of good music, but recently much more RnB/ hip hop than is healthy for a boy.

katieKatie

Never has there been a saturday girl like her - Katie has got the longest hair and best cowboy boots you will ever see in your life. Not content to stop at just looking rad, she also knows more about Bob Dylan than most of us and holds the shop record for most origami models constructed in a single quiet sunday.

charlotteCharlotte

Completing the finest darned staff list the shop's ever seen is Charl. She's our other weekend lass, who manages to squeeze in a few hours a week between being a silent partner in her own company (selling an as yet non-existent cookery book) and watching too much 'Flight Of The Conchords'.
